Echo Incorporated has expanded its X Series battery lineup for landscape and tree care professionals with the launch of nine new outdoor power tools, including the DCS-2500TN X Series battery top-handle chain saw. Echo’s X Series tools include Echo’s Maxout Technology, designed to deliver maximum power output regardless of battery charge level. The DCS-2500TN is a 56-volt chain saw powered by a 2.5Ah lithium-ion battery designed to provide up to 65 cuts. With the battery, it weighs 7.3 pounds. The DCS-2500TN features Echo’s 80TXL cutting system. Other features include a drop-prevention lanyard hook for safety off ground, a side-access chain tensioner for quick adjustments, a quick-draw harness ring for one-movement hooking and unhooking and a translucent chain-oil tank.
